As far as I can remember pepperjamnetwork disapproved this blog’s application to be an affiliate last month. Yes - disapproved, rejected, dumped, discarded, denied. Call ‘em what you want. I cannot remember the reason(s) for the rejection cause I have already deleted the email notice of my disapproval.

Fine! No problem with me, it’s not the first rejection I got. It’s always their prerogative. I can live with that. But what the hell are they always sending me new advertiser alert?! I am not an affiliate, why would I need this information for? Are they trying to add insult to injury?

Maybe, it is just their cunning way of spamming affiliates applicants. I don’t know if there are any out there who has already earned from this network, if you do then good for you. As far I’m concern, I don’t need another spammer in my email. Especially one who has rejected me.

I logged in at EntreCard yesterday and I noticed the the latest buzz posted at the dashboard: “announcing something BIG very soon…” and that’s it! just a single line with nary a hint in it… just something BIG. But I’m sure it’s enough to arouse curiosity in the EntreCard community (well, I’m curious), and I’m sure I am not alone in anticipating the details of this announcement.

I do hope it will top the biggest EntreCard contest which was just finished. And I won 1,000 EC credits in that contest, my lucky streak at EntreCard has begun and I’m pretty sure I’ll get something bigger this time.

Or better yet, I hope I could be given the chance to join the list of sponsors for the contest, like they did to the others before. Well, I do have 1,000 EC credits to spare. It will be a good opportunity for me to put my winnings to good use.

But whatever is cooking, I sure hope they reveal it soon. I’m sure EntreCarders are already excited and anticipating what could this BIG event be. Perhaps they might finally give away Graham’s car? No, I guess it’s something bigger than that.

One guess is really as good as the others, so the best thing to do is just wait for it. I’m sure that once it is reavealed, the whole blogospehre will hear about it. With the more 15,000 active blogs already registered, it will definitely create a buzz ( a loud buzz). And if you’re still not one of us… you’re missing out!

After winning my 1,000 EC credits, I still don’t know what to do it. I have no plan on advertising on those high ticket blogs… call me cheap but I ain’t gonna do it. I would only advertise on those 64 ECs and below… they needed it more, right?

But unfortunately, I’ve been busy lately that I haven’t that much time dropping my cards on other blogs, much more log in to Entrecard. And if ever I logged in, I would only drop cards on my friends just to see the latest on their blogs. And most of them requires at least 128 ECs and above, so that means I wouldn’t advertise on them lol

That means, the 1,000 EC credits that I won will be with me for quite a while… until of course I find a way on how to dispose them - to my benefit. Although right now, I cannot think of anything…. what would I do with these 1,000 EC credits? Sorry, donation is out of the question, as I still have other blogs that has low EC credits or none at all. Distributing it to my blogs is one of the option.

But I’m still thinking… perhaps there could be a better way… I do hope, I can get some suggestions - real ones please, of what I can do with the credits.

I am open for suggestions… anyone… how can I dispose these 1,000 EC credits to my benefit?

Thanks!

I was surprised when I checked my email today. I got a message from EntreCard whose subject title reads “You have been sent 1,000 EC credits“, I was puzzled because I am not expecting any EC credits from anybody. Definitely I am delighted… still, I am puzzled. I didn’t open the message yet cause there is another message that reads, “A message has arrived for you at Entrecard.com” I checked it first, maybe it could explain the 1,000 EC credits I received.

It was from my friend Jena Isle, congratulating me and telling me that I won 1,000 EC credits in the EntreCard contest and told me to check the ECard blog. It was only then that I remembered my post on the Biggest EnterCard Contest. I totally forgot about it, I am not expecting to win cause my blogs haven’t won in anything yet. I immediately logged in at EntreCard and checked the blog about the list of winners.

True enough, my blog was among the list and I won 1,000 EC credits, cool! Another reason for me keep on blogging… and of course - bragging rights, hehe… (Yeah I know, the winners were drawn via raffle, don’t burst my bubble) And the generous sponsor of 1,000 EC credits that I won is Eyespi20. I checked her blog to thank her, instead I was glued and read her post about branding. Cool post Margaret! (yeah, I read somebody called you by that name ;) )

And before I forgot, I just read from the EntreCard dashboard that there are now more than 15,000 active blog registered. Now, if you don’t get it yet, that’s 15,000 fellow bloggers who could possibly visit your blog to drop cards and read some of your posts. So, if you’re not one of those 15,000 yet, join now and get a chance to meet and learn from other bloggers from the EntreCard community.

NOPE! This is not a sequel to my July 18 Earthquake post, this is about some English words and phrases that I have encountered then and now. Somehow these words and phrases has made me think and ask. You may take this seriously, but I suggest you won’t as these are merely playing with words, from someone who is not really an English expert, but then again….

Some of these words and phrases are as follows:

Proper Authority - which makes me ask the question “is there an improper authority?” and if ever there is such a thing, would it still be considered to be an authority knowing that it is improper?
