Hi, Sir Roy,

Yup, sadly, the TV seems to be the ultimate nanny-supplement (if not substitute) /toddler tamer for most households nowadays... i do hope that we, as parents, keep a close watch on what our kids watch (including the shows that WE watch). even cartoons nowadays are not that kid-friendly anymore as i see...

as this prevails, i suggest we turn off our tv sets and instead pick up book to read together with them, or play that toy we've promised to play with them; better yet, pack up and take a stroll on the nearby open park.

...i sure do hope that this plea will soon be heard by those who have the authority to grant that change... before it's too late to undo the damage.

count me in on this endeavor!

God bless!

Hi, Jena Isle here from campaign for non violence, I absolutely agree with you. These seemingly harmless ads are actually inculcating in our kids the wrong values.

I had written two letters to Channel 7 (because of their primetime TV soaps which portrays violence as a natural reaction to events and I also wrote an open letter to the Inquirer , yet all of these letters fell on deaf ears.

Perhaps we should write a letter to the senators? President? or to isumbong mo kay Tulfo??

I won't give up until someone listens from those who are in power and who can really do something about it.

I hope we join forces , Thanks for the visit. Your article is very well written... Keep posting...
