I understand what you feel though I have an entirely different experience.

I remember when I just started 3 months ago, I emailed a blog author requesting for a link exchange. I would have understood him for not replying to my message but was I shocked that the following day he made a post titled something like “Why Would I Exchange Links With You”. It cited his reasons for linking and not linking.

I maybe overly sensitive but… Ouch! That hurt. It’s good to know that at present, my blog has a higher Alexa ranking than his blog.

Don’t believe them! (shhh…kulang lang sila sa pansin). Most bloggers started on a free-hosted blog. I know this because there was not a “BLOG” then yet except for some techie guys.
