The Struggling Blogger

I was never really conscious about my PR until I found out that I don’t have it. “Big deal” I said, “who needs it?!” Unfortunately I do, because I was hoping to earn from blogging. So I signed up in every blog affiliates I stumbled upon. Some rejected my blogs, some approved. But on those which approved my blogs, I really don’t get any opportunity… what gives?

I checked my emails everyday for any notices, I even logged in on those affiliates to check my profiles for any message, still nothing. It was then that it was actually rammed into my face, I don’t have a PR! Wow! So that’s how important a PR is. So how do you get it? I searched for any information on how to get it… and then I searched some more… but I don’t get any that gives it to me in layman’s term. Those that tried to make it simple, only confuses me all the more.

So I forgot about and just continue blogging… my thoughts, my views, my experiences. After all, that is all that I can share. No expertise on money making, techie stuffs, and blogging tips. Just plain first hand experiences.

Yet today was different. Out of habit and without expecting anything, I checked my PR. To my surprise, it reported a 2/10! Wow! What did I do? I hope I can identify the cause so I can duplicate it on my other blogs. I know, for some it’s not really that high, but hey! I came from a 0/10! Give me credit here!

I hope this development could increase my chances of getting more opportunities, aside from the piece-meal opportunities that I’ve received so far. Hopefully, it would lessen my struggles.

But aside from the opportunities and the earnings, what I’m really looking forward to is the acceptance and respect that I hope to receive as a blogger.
