Tiny tarsierWhen I thought that the Philippine Tarsier is the smallest tarsier in the world, I read from Yahoo News! that scientist has rediscovered a long-lost tiny primate in Indonesia.

Scientist were surprised yet thrilled at the same time. It took them more than two-months to capture three furry, mouse-sized pygmy tarsiers - two males and one female on Mt. Rore Katimbo in Lore Lindu National Park in central Sulawesi.

A fourth one was able to escape after biting Sharon Gursky-Doyen, a Texas A&M University professor who was part of the expedition.

They were putting a collar the tarsier’s neck so they can track their movement, but the feisty one was able to bite Sharon because the tarsier can rotate their head 180 degrees.
