Google now speaks Filipino
Posted by: Roy in Announcement, In the news, blog, internet, links, tags: filipino, google, google translate, tagalog, translate, websiteI’m sure you’ve seen your Google homepage, in Filipino language, that’s not what I’m referring to.
I’m referring to the newly launched translation tool of Google, where you can translate an entire webpage to and from Filipino.
How is this a good news? Because, for one, those who are doing some research and may have some problem with other languages (yes, it’s not just English), Google will translate it for them in Filipino. In fact, you can search for a subject in Filipino, and it will search all other languages too, and brings back the result already translated in Filipino. Cool!
And if your blog is in Filipino, others can now read it too because Google will translate it to their language. Hooray! More readers for you!
Actually, I haven’t tried it yet. I just heard the buzz and I’m so excited to blog about it. I will give it a try immediately to see how it work.
If you are interested to try the tool too, click it here: Google translates in Filipino.
I wonder if it can translate in Kapampangan too?
