Friends of the The Struggling Blogger who supported me in the Free Domain Hosting Contest... thank you very much to all of you!

Linkity-link, linkity-link
An SEO-wannabe, hmm… let me think
I’ll drive more traffic, I’ll get more hits
If only I know how to linkity-link

Linkity-link, linkity-link
Cash registers ringing, klankity-klink
I’d love to hear that sound, e’en the faintest ‘pink’
Oh, if only I know how to linkity-link

Modesty aside I have been googled at
And Yahoo searches have found me, just like that
Yet I really don’t know how to play the game
So I still have a poor Page Ranking, oh! what a shame!

I did exert some efforts with the Pacquiao and the Obama
And who can forget the sacrilege of Dureza?
‘thought I did everything, went for the big news,
Even blogged about an 8-year old boy who plays the blues

Need I to post scandals? Just to be in the pack
And forget about my blog’s niche, and be out of track
Those linkity-links aren’t as easy as I thought them to be
I can’t even spell S-E-O, can’t you see

What am I to do? Oh, poor little ol’ me
Can somebody teach this SEO-wannabe?
I did everything, everything I can think
But them cash registers just won’t klankity-klink

But wait a minute! Maybe I still have an ace
That post on Michael Phelps might get me in the race.
And just like him, I might become a winner
But if not, I could end up just another whiner.

Oh, linkity-link, tell me what you think
Or do I still have to buy you a drink?
Oh please tell me, I promise I won’t blink
I really need to hear those klankity-klink

Usually, verses and poems are reserved for my other blogs (REFLECTIONS, Sugar Coated World and Be Inspired Now!) But as you can see, none of them fits this poems thought… so I thought, The Struggling Blogger would be happy to host this one.
