Free One-Year Webhosting contest at Technology Talks

I found this posted on Amor’s blog, and although I would like to support her, as I have mentioned in my previous posts that I am planning to have my own self-hosted blogs, that’s why I’m joining too. Anyway, I believe this post will earn her additional 20 points.

I’m talking about the Free Domain Hosting Contest at Technology Talks where the winner will receive a free webhosting for WorPress blog. There are also cash prizes totalling $100 to be given away.

The mechanics are as follows:
1. Subscribe to Technology Talk’s RSS Feeds via e-mail - 10 points (I have subscribed already)

2. Create a post in your blog about the contest, of course don’t forget to link on the contest’s URL as well as on Technology Talk’s homepage - 25 points (Done ;) )

3. Encourage readers, as in….”oh please, please, please help me win the free web hosting, I need it very badly! please, please, please….” you get the idea. I’m serious, I need your support on this one. You can vote for me by posting “an original‘ article in your blog about this contest, linking Technology Talks homepage as well as the contest’s URL. Don’t forget to mention my name or my blog’s name in your post for it to earn me 15 points. (Thanks!)

4. Be a contestant. Only if you can find it in your heart to compete with me. Seriously now, it still could earn me additional 20 points (aside from another competition). Blog about this contest, with the same rules that I have mentioned here.

Aside from the free hosting, here are the other prizes:
$25 (via PayPal) + 2,000 EntreCard credits
$15 (via PayPal) + 1,500 EntreCard credits
$10 (via PayPal) + 1,000 EntreCard credits

But if you only vote only for me (instead of competing with me :) ) There’s also something for you:
5 voters-only will be randomly selected and each will receive $10 through Paypal + 500 Entrecard Credits.

So there you go, so please do support me on this one.

The contest will run until Monday, December 15, 2008 and the winners will be announce on December 30, 2008.

By January 1, 2009, I will get my free domain hosting as a prize.
