Bloggers Connection: Elmot

It is after all, my own personal endeavour and contribution to make the blogosphere a better place to be in… my quest to create an enviroment where bloggers support bloggers.
And featured on today’s Bloggers Connection, I am proud to present to you Elmot!
Elmot is the man behind the Ani-Mo!!! blog, where he posts his views and opinion on Philippine politics, current news and events, as well his thoughts on other blogs.
And just like most of us bloggers, his blog also contains posts of events that happened in his life, his struggles and joys, hits and misses… and I believe I saw some rants too.
Reading his About page you will see, aside from the boy-next-door feature, that he is an ex-seminarian… a man who dreamt of becoming a priest one day. As to why he didn’t pursue the vocation, I have yet to read it in his blog.
But don’t let that boyish look fool you, as you will see in his posts that he has no qualms in sharing his thoughts on national events, especially on topics that dwell on politics. Perhaps (I believe) it was because of his training in the seminary, as most seminarians I’ve met before were really outspoken.
And while he seems to be hard-hitting in his political commentaries, they are definitely not without humor, and his choice of photos to match his posts are a definite killer. So, don’t expect a typical printed-column type commentary, otherwise he won’t be having those loyal readers he have now.
Before I forget, our outspoken blogger here is also a poet and you can find his poems in his Here and Now blog, where he also revealed his real name. I hope that he continue to write more poems though.

You’re spot on your comment. Don’t be deceived by his boyish charms. My little bro is a blogger possessed - ably balancing a day job and his two blogs. A young political commentator with impish charm and depth. Saan ka pa!

I’m actually impressed by his writings….and the way he writes it. If he were to keep on writing, he is going to be polished and could write a book himself. He is definitely a writer who writes from his heart.

I find Elmot’s blog refreshing and he has a good writing skills rin talaga. Bro, keep up the good work. In fact, I’m a semi-regular ‘tambay’ of his Ani-Mo!!! webby. ^_^
