My list of Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs

I believe I also should make my own list of nominees – bloggers who I believe deserve recognition for the contribution they give and are giving to the blogosphere.
So here I am with the list, partial for now, of my nominees for the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs for 2009:
1. Dear Bloggery
If you read my feature on Snow in my Bloggers Connection, you’ll understand why I put her on top of the list. Snow, as I always say, is all over the blogosphere. Blog hopping and unselfishly sharing all her finds in her weekly buzz.
2. Sa Labas Ng Mandaluyong
Jan was my very first commenter in my Tagalog blog Etsetera-Etsetera! When I first saw the name of the blog, I thought I would be in for a light and funny read. But I was surprised, because Jan’s blog tackles serious matters about blogging… and when you see all the comments on every blog posts, you’ll think that Jan has been blogging for years to have such a huge following.
3. Dare to Speak Out
Silver, the owner of Dare to Speak Out, is perhaps the blogosphere’s version of Kuya Germs (Walaaang Tulugan!) Because she posts comments on blogs during daytime, she posts comments during nighttime, and all hour in-between.
In her blog, Silver writes about different topics on her blog, from trivial to serious, and more serious matters. Lately she’s into political and other relevant current issues.
4. Zorlone
While others write about online income, SEO and stuff, Zorlone goes about expressing his own brand of creative writing on the blogosphere. He is into poetry and short-story fiction, and has already won numerous writing contests sponsored by other blogs.
He is a doctor by day and a poet by night (and sometimes even in-between meals)
In such a short span of time, Zorlone has already earned the respect of his peers in the creative writing division. Proof enough that he should be included in the list of Top 10 emerging influential blogs.
5. Ani-mo!!!
My latest feature in my Bloggers Connection. Elmot of Ani-mo!!! is an ex-seminarian who writes about current political issues, among other things. He has no qualms expressing in his opinion on the hottest issues in our country today. Given enough time and due recognition, Elmot will give all those pseudo-political analysts a run for their money.
6. Keep It Short and Simple (KISS)
By Mel Alarilla. Among his blogs, this is my favorite. He invites his readers to share their ideas on his question for the day. I enjoy participating in his posts, and I can see that he has a decent number of followers too. Which more than justify my inclusion of his name in my top 10 list.
7. Father Blogger Dot Com
I checked his archives and I can’t believe that Angel’s blog just started in July 2008, which gives me great joy because that means I can nominate him. I believe that Angel should be included in the least, his life story is a great inspiration to all of us, his blogger friends. He writes about family, child-rearing, and specially matters that concern most fathers.
So far this my partial list of blogs for the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs. I hope to complete them soon as I finished scouting around for the next 3 that would complete my list. I just can’t wait to post this, so that they can get a head start.

I’m not acquainted with the other blogs in the list, but I will recommend a few: You , Zorlone, snow, Father blogger. Eclectic group as Plotdog usually says. lol

Thanks for this list of recommended blogs. The one that jumped at me right away was Keep it Short and Simple. I hopped on over to the site right away and discovered that it is a great blog, encouraging others to think and share their thoughts.

Tips when you are going to my blog:
1. Drink coffee when you are reading my blog
2. Put a plastic sheet in your laptop or PC just in case may mabasa kayong leche at baka mapabuga kayo ng kape
3. Bring hypertension drugs…and dont forget that sphygmamonometer (paki-correct ako sa spelling)
4. Bring cold compress to put on your hot head after reading my blog…

Honestly speaking, I am very grateful for including my blog on your list. I am very happy to know that inspite of my absence online for almost a month will still encourage you to nominate me.
Unfortunately, I have now to settle my problems offline and I am not sure when I will be online again. In fact, if Mon of Fatherlyours did not inform me about your entry, I will not be able to know about it.
I really miss blogging and will do my best to pursue it later, but not soon. For the meantime, I will still check my mails maybe once a week.
Don’t worry, I am fine. There are just things that I have to prioritize and being online is not among them for now.

My Archive is prominently displayed on the tab bar on the horizontal navigation bar on my header just under the title. It says; Home, Archive, Subscribe Now, My Photo Slideshow, My Guestbook (Please sign my guestbook, if you can), Praise God… and About the Author.
My first entry started at July 19 or 22 , 2008.
Oh no, I’m just joking…..of course , ganyan naman tayo, gusto makisali but honestly do not nominate me if I am not qualified nor deserving. Joks lang uy. As much as possible, I want a quiet life and peaceful life…nominations like this will just make me feel uncomfortable. Hindi ako sanay…..I did not mean it. I am blogging just to have my voice heard a little bit. other than that, I want to back off na.
