I Breathe Blog

I don’t know if that is a good thing or not, but with 13 blogs and growing, that is not really an inaccurate statement.
No. Nobody said those words to me, I just have this nasty habit of talking to myself. Who else do I have here with me to talk to?
I tried talking to the PC before, but I stopped. Why? Because I felt it was starting to answer back.
Don’t worry, I’m still sane. At least I think so. I still have frequent lucid intervals, with short distances in-between even. So, I’m still good for discussions. Try me.
Anyway, in one of those sessions, the inner voice told me those words – “You have a blog breath!”
I write blogs… I read blogs… I talk blogs… I think blogs…. I breathe blogs! Maybe, I do have a blog breath!
In the morning, after doing fatherly things and sending my kids off to school, my blogging day starts. Checking for comments which needed moderation, finding out who visited and coming from where, and see if I have some income opportunities waiting for me for the day.
Then, I go on and visit blogs. Doing some chit-chat on other blogs, trying to see if there is something interesting to read… all the while, thinking of what I could write myself.
There was even a time when I did some marathon blogging. You know, that sun-up to sun-down thing. With only a meal and occasional trips to the bathroom as the break. But even then, my best output I believe was only 5 or 6 blog posts. Yes, in as much number of blogs, meaning each one with a different niche.
‘Trash’ talking
I admit, I don’t always write articles worthy of any literally recognition (yes, I believe some do). And there would be times that I’ll be posting trash, sometimes even intentional. Which could be because – I need to break a chain of writing opportunities, or just because I feel like doing some ‘trash’ talking.
The emerging influential blogger
As if blogging alone isn’t a chore, I now even need to shape up to meet expectations for this prestigious writing project.
Not.
I admit, it gotten into my system. Hey! You can’t blame me! It’s like I’ve been blogging in anonymity for eons, and suddenly, somebody is noticing me!
Me?! Of all people?!
The one with an innate talent to blend with the wallpaper, or curtains as the case may be, in any crowd or party!
How do you expect me to react? Other than to over-react?
But I found out, running around is tiring… and not healthy to the self-esteem even.
…and now, back to our regular programming
I realized, I was noticed not because I am doing the cartwheel or some mean breakdancing moves, but because of what I was doing…
by writing in my blogs… by living in my blogs…
I am the struggling blogger… and I breathe blog…

Cool. You’ve been noticed by not going out of your way to get noticed—like doing a cartwheel or a headspin. Let’s breathe blog.
Hi Luke! nice to see you walking in the blogosphere again!
you really seem to be very busy lately
You get noticed becase of your individuality and uniquenessas a blogger. Good luck Sir Roy!
Olrays Cabalen!
Roy, you deserve it. And Badong is right about your uniqueness. A blog, most of the time, reflects the light of the person writing behind the scenes. I think that light will shine brighter.
You are one splendid writer Kuya Roy, you deserve all the accolades!
You’re getting noticed because you’re our Jerry Seinfeld. Not the smart alecky Jerry Seinfeld, but the more humane, more kind and gentler one-liners.
I would love to have your kind disposition, Roy.
But of course I can be only me. Next time, I’d try talking to my desktop, too. Ahahaha.
I breathe blogs. What a lovely, inspiring title and a post to match it. “,)
@Badong
thank you very much for that, I must say I needed that
@Rob
Cabalen! Thanks for the support!
@Snow
as always, you’re always there to push
@Jan
believe me, you wouldn’t want my ‘unpredictable’ disposition
honestly Jan, I was eyeing more for the shadows of Bill Cosby and George Burns… but that would give away our age
I suddenly remembered something
once I asked a friend, “what’s another word for unique?”
point blank he replied - “weird”
I was hoping to read a poem hehehe.
Great Roy! This one really got stuck huh? I hope we can campaign more to the other uber bloggers out there. It takes time and a lot of patience to be able to reach them. I am lucky to get to number ten so far. Because of good blogger friends such as yourself.
Ooops, that sounded like a speech. hehehe. Going back to you…
You deserve to win Roy! Don’t forget, you also have blog dreams! hehehe

Aside from being full time parents to our kids, we are full time bloggers. I can fully relate. If only i have time I will also devote my time visiting and marathon blog hopping. hehe. I love reading as much as writing (although my writing sucks).. and I’m still trying. It’s so fun to meet people who have the same interests and are passionate in what they’re doing. I have learned a lot about myself because of my blog and I love getting to know other people through their blogs. ^^
hi fedhz!
blog hopping is something I can’t do so much.
thanks for dropping by
