Automation… manual… automation… what gives?

Don’t get me wrong. I’m glad that the automation of 2010 election will push through, really I am… but is that all there is to it?

“Here’s your candy, you can stop crying now”

So now, we can rest easy knowing that next year’s election will be fully automated.

And we are greatly indebted to these two companies, who after fighting out in the bidding table needed to fight it out among themselves, putting us all at the edge of our seat!

What was that?!

Are we really that gullible of a race that we’ll take everything that is served to us?

No ifs, no buts - no questions even! We should just be glad.

Somebody caused trouble, and we should be thankful he changed his mind and not cause trouble anymore.

How dare them to threaten backing out after being granted the winning bid? Is that how it is played really?

And who is (are) the powerful person(s) behind that brouhaha?

What if 2 days before the election and that ’somebody’ needs to scratch his balls very badly? So bad that he needs to buy a very expensive ointment, lest he’ll pull out everything that can make automation a reality.

I’m blabbering I know, ranting again… because these things always happen…

and we have to be thankful even.

    I share your sentiments, Roy. I’m not impress with the track record of these companies. In fact, i don’t even think that we are ready for an automated election at this time.

    actually, mas ok nga kung magiging automated na yung election natin.. mas ok talaga yun… kaya nga lang, hindi ko pa rin maalis yung tanong na ready na nga ba talaga ayo for the automated election?

    not that we are ready, my main concern is actually ‘do we have the political will to adapt the change?’ sa nangyari pa lang ito, parang pinapa-ikot na tayo e

    ok ako sa automation, dito lang talaga may question… sa ginagawang rigodon ng mga nanalo… pwede ba yun?!
