It’s now November, a month before Christmas, and people are continuing with their countdown of the days until it comes. There is enough time to buy your gifts for the ones you love. Don’t think that there’s plenty, because before you realized it, Christmas will be here soon, and there will lots of people in the malls and gift shops.

Don’t forget to give yourself a gift too this Christmas. Yes, you deserve it, after working hard throughout the year. What’s a little ‘gadget’ if it will make you feel happy, besides, you’ll definitely work to raise the money for that gift.

As for me, I’m thinking of digital cameras because I want to get a better and more high-tech camera. My existing camera doesn’t seem to provide me the results I wanted. Funny, it was fine when it was new. Or, if finances would allow, I have been looking at all laptops every time I go to the mall, wishing that someday I can get my own… and be able to blog wherever I go.

But if these gadgets are really way beyond my means this Christmas, I would settle for the train set I’ve been dreaming since I was a kid. Heck! To hell with the gadgets! They can wait, I want the train set first, lest I grow old enough that I would not be able to assemble the tracks. Gadgets can wait, I still have my old digital camera and my old but reliable desktop computer.

I know, you may say I’m too old for toys, but hey, my kids would love the train set too. And I will let them play with it too.

Okay, I’m getting carried away here. Let’s go back to shopping for gifts. The advantage of shopping early is that you can go to different malls and shop and make price comparison so you can get the best deal.
