Thinking of trekking the Pinatubo

I always get jealous whenever I see pictures posted on Facebook and other social media, of people who have trekked the Pinatubo trail. It is one of my dream to also trek the volcano that once brought gloom and chaos in our town, Angeles City. I have already discussed this with some of my friends who have been there, or are also planning to go there. Some are even willing take their travel trailers to as far as the slope of the volcano would allow us. They are more than willing to accompany once we get our schedules fixed.
Hopefully I can finally do it this summer, while I can still feel that I will be able to handle the long trek. If I delay, I may not be able to take even a single step because of weak knees.
Seriously, this has been in my “things to do before I die” list.
I have seen the pictures of the people who have been there. I want to see it for myself, and be as near to the mouth of the volcano as possible. And I would make sure that I will get my picture taken there.
Yes, that would make for a great blog post, isn’t it?
