“You can’t get any bigger in this business than to fight Manny Pacquiao right now,” said Josh Clottey, who acknowledges fighting the pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao is more than just the money.

The Pacquiao-Clottey fight will be on March 13, a match that was inked following a fall-out from the negotiation with Mayweather, Jr.

Other’s (especially his detractors) may see his move as “copping out,” but personally, I believe that it is wise decision that Chiz won’t run in 2010 presidential elections.

I am not really a supporter of Senator Francis Escudero, but I do acknowledge the fact that he is popular especially with the youth. But being independent (after quitting his political party), it might not be a good idea to slug it out with the big guys who has well-oiled political machineries.

Besides, if he decided to run for the president instead, it would only divide further the (already divided) opposition (to the benefit of some).

But now that he decided not to run, it could pave the way for the unification of “really” united opposition who will rally behind a single candidate who will truly help steer the country towards genuine development.

At this point though, the senator is still mum as to which candidate he would support for the president and vice president position.

To be honest, I don’t really watch boxing… at least not until the day I started blogging.

Never in my entire life have I paid attention to boxing. But since I started blogging I began to be conscious of not only boxing, but other things that are happening today – even things that don’t even concern me.

And with less than 24 hours before the Pacquiao-Cotto fight, I’d like to share my thoughts, not only on this particular fight, but on every fight that Pacquiao has.
