The Struggling Blogger

Here’s one program that I really wish I can participate in but I can’t. For one, I am no longer a student, which is a requirement for the program, and second I am not really that tech-savvy to write codes.

I am referring to Google Summer of Code 2009 which has just been announced by Google recently. Now on its fifth year, applications for the program will be accepted until April 3, 2009.

Google is extending its invitation to students in Philippines to join the summer program that will help them find a mentor in writing open-source codes as well as give them the chance to be exposed to real world problems.

Much has been said about SEO, Page Ranking and Internet Marketing, for non-techie bloggers like me, this information can get to be quite a mouthful. That’s why bloggers like me need to find someone that can help us understand these things better if we want to benefit from this passion which is blogging.

Fortunately, there is a webmaster forum that we can register and join into. I’m referring to WebCosmo Forums, a forum for webmasters, by webmasters. Members here participate in discussions, sharing knowledge and experience. And we non-techie can really benefit and learn a lot from these discussions.

When you have someone as credible as Angel Cuala endorsing an e-book, all feelings skepticism and cynicism flies out the window. True enough, after reading his review and downloading the free e-book (and reading the e-book of course), it is as he described it to be.

As the name of the e-book says, it contains the Ultimate Super Tips in things that you need to know if you are serious in earning online. Yes, the book is about internet marketing, but don’t be intimated because the book is written in the simplest, and the most understandable presentation that even a non-techie like can easily comprehend.
