“You have a blog breath!”
I don’t know if that is a good thing or not, but with 13 blogs and growing, that is not really an inaccurate statement.
No. Nobody said those words to me, I just have this nasty habit of talking to myself. Who else do I have here with me to talk to?
I tried talking to the PC before, but I stopped. Why? Because I felt it was starting to answer back.
Don’t worry, I’m still sane. At least I think so. I still have frequent lucid intervals, with short distances in-between even. So, I’m still good for discussions. Try me.
Anyway, in one of those sessions, the inner voice told me those words – “You have a blog breath!”
I write blogs… I read blogs… I talk blogs… I think blogs…. I breathe blogs! Maybe, I do have a blog breath!

Aside from trying to be an influential blogger, yours truly, The Struggling Blogger is also joining writing contests in the blogosphere. I am, after all, a frustrated writer and a self-proclaimed poet, before I was a blogger
The weekly WOOF Writing Contest is one of those I am joining on a regular basis. For last week’s edition of the contest, I submitted a poem for wife and an article about words and phrases that got me thinking.
My poem was fortunate enough to be included in the top picks, which was chosen by the participants themselves. The article however, wasn’t as lucky.
One of the nominees in my Top 10 List, is included in the top picks too — Zorlone. You’ll find his name and links to his entries below, which shows why he is included in my list.
Here’s the complete list of winners, and other entries submitted as well.

Taking the cue from PinoyAmbisyoso, I am also posting herewith my goals and plans for 2009. And this time, I would like to follow the rules when it comes to setting goals - REALISTIC and SPECIFIC and with that comes a TIME FRAME.
I will post here two sets of goals, first for the month of January 2009 and the second group, for the whole 2009. I may not necessarily post another set for February next month, although I may post updates from time to time.
So here are my goals and plans for January 2009
1) Compose one song - surprised this is the first one on the list? The last time I wrote a song was in 2007. Although none of my songs have ever been recorded commercially
2) Write 3 poems - I am after all a self-proclaimed poet
3) Finish one Papier Tole project - another passion of mine
4) Create, upload and develop the dot com version of The Struggling Blogger - need I say more?
5) Go back to making and selling Chocolate Lollipops and Personalized Chocolate Bars - I need to make a living somehow

The demi-gods of blogging has spoken once again… and they damned the PayPerPost bloggers. Hail! The chosen ones who exists in the blogosphere without being lured to the call of ‘paid blogging’ like us lowly peasant bloggers.
Damned! Damned! Damned!
Did they invent blogging?! What right have them to judge over other bloggers? Whatever happened to live and let live or should I say blog and let blog?
If my so-called ‘hypocritical reviews’ is making you puke, by all means puke on your face! Your holier-than-thou attitude will backfire on you faster than you can lick your rotten balls.
Your insensitivity to others is only overshadowed by your being prejudicial to people whose present state of being you don’t even understand. Suddenly, aside from audio and video, the computer now emits a foul stink that can only come from you.
And to think I even subscribed to your blog.
Damned!
I can write all the unprintables here, but still they wouldn’t suffice to relieve me of the undue stress and anxiety that your insensitivity has caused.
Yes, I am one of those PayPerPost Punks that you damned on your post. And not only that, I also do Sponsored Reviews and Blogvertise, for your information. That means I am three times the punk that you are referring to in your unsolicited opinion.
Because I have mouth to feeds, I have children to send to school. I earned my keeps fair and square. I blog to let my family live. I do not steal, I do not lie and most of all I do not misled others with phony get-rich-quick scheme and bogus affiliates income opportunity.
I am a blogger, struggling maybe, but I am blogger… and I don’t care about your standards.

Not all bloggers would admit to it, but there exists what you might call blog fillers. These blog fillers can be anything that a blogger will post in his blog for various reasons. The most obvious of which is when there have been a lull in a blogger’s blog and posts takes too long to be come.
But I am not saying that blog fillers are outright nonsense posts nor are they out of context. In fact, these could also be classified reserved blog posts, as some bloggers really reserved them for times when there aren’t any articles to posts.
