How to determine if you are bugged

This one came from a legitimate security agency here in Angeles City though, although I wonder how they got my e-mail… but I have a suspect (a site I just signed-up with).
But this e-mail is actually informative. I’m sharing it in my blog, some of you may want to try it. It shows briefly how check if there’s a bugging devise near you.
Here’s the e-mail:
Almost all bugging devices work on an FM frequency because they are simply wireless transmitters. If you think a room is bugged, have a radio tuned to an AM station in the room with the volume turned up fairly loud.
