Here is an old article of Mr. Francis Kong from Philippine Star. This one’s special to me because after reading it then, I emailed Mr. Kong to ask his permission to post it on my blog. To my surprise, he replied positively!
Since then, I always email him whenever I see his weekly article on Philippine Star to ask permission, and always he would reply. That’s one great characteristic of Mr. Kong - he always reply to your emails, no matter how busy he seems to be.
Here is the said article, it’s about talking to yourself.

The first time I saw the news on the web, I really didn’t take a look at it because for one, football isn’t televised here in the Philippines, so I don’t really know Ryan Moats.
But when I stumbled upon the Yahoo blog post about the incident, with the videos embedded, I got curious and watched the video… and was I disturbed, disgusted, frustrated and upset.
All throughout the video, it seems to me the officer is saying that a dying relative is not an excuse for traffic violation.
And here I am thinking US police are smart, sensible, mature and compassionate. Too much watching NYPD Blue on free TV I guess.

We are all aware of the global economic crisis and how it has affected the businesses. Corporations, big and small alike, are not spared from its effect. And because of the slowdown of economic transactions, it results to a depleted cash balance.
Companies of course can always resort to Business Loans to help finance daily operations in these times. But where can you get an unsecured business loan in the time of recession?
To get that much needed cash infusion, they can always trust EZUnsecured Loans and its sister company Business Credit Magic to be their allies in these times.

Who would have thought? I knew it had me fooled. The Transformers star Megan Fox sure looks good wearing the Wonder Woman costume. But as it turns out, it was nothing but a hoax? Or is it really?
Whatever, the site Wonder-Who.com really did a great job. As it shows an American flag being stripped part by part revealing a costumed woman behind it. Until it finally reveals Megan Fox as the Amazon warrior princess.
But as what Yahoo movies revealed, it was just a hoax. Saying that it was nothing but an accomplished Photoshop work. But it was clueless at to who were the people behind it, or what was the reason for site.
Although it referred to JoBlo.com as the website who who was able to reach to a representative from Warner Bros. and confirmed the the Wonder-Who.com site was a “complete B.S.”
Honestly, I grew up with the image of Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman etched in my mind. And I never thought any other actress fitting the costume… until the poster.
Well, hoax or not, and even after realizing that it was a very convincing Photoshop edit, Megan Fox still looks hot in the Wonder Woman costume.

“I never doubted that Pacman will win!” this remark puts a smile on my face when I heard it on the radio. A representative from the palace quoted the state leader as saying so. Yes, I know Pacman is an excellent boxer, but he is still not Superman. He is as vulnerable as any boxer he faces on the ring. And the fact that he is facing a fellow champion doesn’t give him an outright advantage at all. Diaz is not a pre-schooler in professional boxing, so to speak.
