Here I am again.
It seems like I’m getting too many of it lately… wanting to write and yet don’t know where to start.
Writer’s block?
It’s very convenient to call it that. When you can’t write, blame it on having another case of “writer’s block” and you’re already justified.
Or, are you?

After a long while, I am bringing back my Bloggers Connection, and I hope that this time, I can do this on a regular basis. It is after all, my own personal endeavour and contribution to make the blogosphere a better place to be in… my quest to create an enviroment where bloggers support bloggers.
And featured on today’s Bloggers Connection, I am proud to present to you Elmot!
Elmot is the man behind the Ani-Mo!!! blog, where he posts his views and opinion on Philippine politics, current news and events, as well his thoughts on other blogs.
And just like most of us bloggers, his blog also contains posts of events that happened in his life, his struggles and joys, hits and misses… and I believe I saw some rants too.

The start of 2009 was great for me, and it seems that things are really falling into place. That is why I was really excited at the promise of the new year for me, so excited that I shouted “Greater things are coming to me!”
But as excited I was for the new year, not all things that I wished for will come true… at least not now.
Today, I text the editor of the local newspaper to follow up on the writing job, and this is the reply that I got:
We are cost-cutting right now.
we still don’t have a budget for bloggers
I’m sorry
Yes, the project didn’t push through. But what I didn’t like is being made to expect and eventually being lied to.

Taking the cue from PinoyAmbisyoso, I am also posting herewith my goals and plans for 2009. And this time, I would like to follow the rules when it comes to setting goals - REALISTIC and SPECIFIC and with that comes a TIME FRAME.
I will post here two sets of goals, first for the month of January 2009 and the second group, for the whole 2009. I may not necessarily post another set for February next month, although I may post updates from time to time.
So here are my goals and plans for January 2009
1) Compose one song - surprised this is the first one on the list? The last time I wrote a song was in 2007. Although none of my songs have ever been recorded commercially
2) Write 3 poems - I am after all a self-proclaimed poet
3) Finish one Papier Tole project - another passion of mine
4) Create, upload and develop the dot com version of The Struggling Blogger - need I say more?
5) Go back to making and selling Chocolate Lollipops and Personalized Chocolate Bars - I need to make a living somehow

I started blogging way back in 2004, although it is only in 2008 that I really devoted more of my time to blogging. Erase that, make that ‘most’ of my time to blogging. In fact, in early 2008 I have only one blog which is the REFLECTIONS.
Now, I have 9 active blogs which I always want to get updated all the time. Although honestly, it is inevitable that one or two blogs get left out for a week or two (sometimes even a month), before it gets updated. Nonetheless, I do try hard to give them equal time.
In my efforts to give blogging my full attention, here are what I’ve learn so far:
