I am presenting again my Bloggers Connection, and this time, instead of featuring just a single blogger, I am giving you a group of bloggers - the Clin Chem Student Bloggers, a group of students who created their blogs to support their studies on Clinical Chemistry.

With the blessing and guidance of their professor, these 29 students created their blogs:
1. To enhance the learning-teaching process through Web-Based Instructional Materials (WBIM).
2. To synchronize learning-teaching methods with relevant, available updates in technology.
3. To encourage students to utilize current technology in their learning process.
4. To adapt current and global online methods of learning.

Most of them, if not all of them, are first-time bloggers. And I believe that by presenting them here, you can help me in encouraging these students and formally welcoming them to the blogosphere.

I have quite a number of reasons why Jena Isle is the first featured blogger in the Bloggers Connection, aside from being my Cabalen. For one, she has been a major influence for me coming out of my blog… err, shell. She seems to have taken it upon herself to look out for new and ’shy’ bloggers and encourage them to go out, explore the blogosphere and of course, to enjoy blogging. I have met a lot of great bloggers because of her initiative.

A great motivator indeed, but Jena’s mission does not end there. She has an ongoing campaign in eradicating violence on TV for our children’s sake. She is in fact encouraging everyone to guest post in her blog should they have any articles, stories, poems or pictures that can help her cause. Please take this as an invitation and join Jena in this worthy advocacy.
