I was not really planning to have any post today for Father’s Day, since I already made a sort-of-father’s-day post in my Reflections.

But as I was reading today’s newspaper and saw the column of Francis Kong (my favorite), I was struck by the article he wrote (as always), especially about the one he got from the internet. And I said to myself “this is worth sharing!”

This will be my first post of this nature. Maybe there could be more, as I began to realize that perhaps I can use the power of blogs to help in my own little way. Honestly, I really don’t have that much to offer, and at this point this is the best I can do. I just hope it amounts to something.

I just read it in Philippine Star today, that all it only needs P50,000 each to save the lives of two patients.

Those amount need not come from one person, if many would contribute even just a small amount, perhaps the amount would be raised in no time.

Americans did it to help Obama win, is it not possible for Filipinos to do it to help save lives?
