Mt. ArayatThe title could be taken both as prophetic or one coming from a hopeful blogger. Law of attraction perhaps? Honestly, although nothing really spectacular in nature have occurred, little things have happened that might be signs of greater things to come.

For one, if winning a free web hosting for a year isn’t a great way to start the year, I don’t know what is. And coming with that free web hosting is a WordPress Theme personally designed by Amor, which again I won. Now, aren’t those good signs of better things coming ahead?

Why am I so ecstatic really? I hope this does not preempt anything, but I just can’t wait to blog about this even it is not yet confirmed. I may get to write for a local newspaper here in Angeles City. I said I may, nothing final yet, but the percentage seems to be more on the favorable ;)

Yes, it is another dream coming true for me. Writing for a newspaper, or at least in its web edition. That would make me a full fledged (ehem! ehem!) writer then, doesn’t it? But like I said, nothing final yet. It may or may not happen, so I’ll cross fingers now after I publish this post.

By the way, above is a picture of Mt. Arayat which I personally took while we were on NLEX last weekend, going home from Paranaque. I may blog separately about that picture too, maybe in my REFLECTIONS.

I have quite a number of reasons why Jena Isle is the first featured blogger in the Bloggers Connection, aside from being my Cabalen. For one, she has been a major influence for me coming out of my blog… err, shell. She seems to have taken it upon herself to look out for new and ’shy’ bloggers and encourage them to go out, explore the blogosphere and of course, to enjoy blogging. I have met a lot of great bloggers because of her initiative.

A great motivator indeed, but Jena’s mission does not end there. She has an ongoing campaign in eradicating violence on TV for our children’s sake. She is in fact encouraging everyone to guest post in her blog should they have any articles, stories, poems or pictures that can help her cause. Please take this as an invitation and join Jena in this worthy advocacy.

Just like what I said in a previous post, I plan to have another blog, and this time I want to have my own domain, a self-hosted blog. That’s why I’m still in search for the best web hosting provider. I need all the expert opinion that I can get. Because the choices are too many.

Web Hosting Geeks can be one source of that opinion because they have been doing independent reviews of web hosting companies. Their point-of-views can be useful for someone who is not as techie as me.

And since I am planning to start a new blog, I was curious on their reviews about the best blog hosting there is. Not only did it show the blog host providers, but also featured some useful articles such as the best blogging software that a blogger like me can use.

Well, it seems that I am really keen on testing my skills as a short story blogger. And finding a reliable web hosting provider could save me from lots of trouble later, so I can concentrate on my stories.Good thing, there is Web Hosting Geeks who does the web hosting service provider reviews for me.

Watch out for my short stories in my new blog!

I am planning to start a new blog. Yes I know, I already have one blog too many, so sue me. Seriously, I have been thinking, and having this itch for quite a long time, which motivates me to start another blog.

In this new blog, I will be writing… or will attempt to, write short stories. Stories of different genre, from romance, suspense, actions, comedies and satires, and yes, maybe even of horrors, and to the absolute macabre, who knows. I’d like to test myself.

In line with this, I am now in search for the best web hosting company there is. I would like this blog to feature me not just as The Struggling Blogger, but as The Writer… okay, make that The Struggling Writer. So, I would like it to have it’s own domain name instead of one on a free-hosted blog. But I have just found out, searching and making a choice isn’t really that easy.
